Annual Meeting

Networking for Community Health Workers March 2015!

If you are interested in meeting other CHWs, learning about the programs and services they provide, and sharing experiences, this event is for you!

To reserve a spot in advance, email chwassociationri@gmail.com.

Every year, the Community Health Worker Association of Rhode Island holds an annual event to celebrate the accomplishments on CHWs in our state.  We honor a CHW of the Year (email us to nominate yourself or a colleague) and make connections with other CHWs in the community.  The event is also a chance to learn about the newest things going on in the CHW workforce.  Keep visiting our website for the most up to date information on this popular event!

COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Annual Community Health Worker of the Year Award goes to a CHW who goes above and beyond the job description, serving the community.  This CHW helps to bridge the community to the resources it needs, even when not "on the clock".  This CHW always puts others first, and truly defines what it means to be a Community Health Worker.

  • work in a Community Health Worker position

  • be connected to the Community Health Worker Association of RI (by participating in training, events, or other means)
